5.2.4. Reading node field output
In this section the capability of Abaqus2Matlab to provide a printout of the results contained in an odb file and associated with a specific node-type field output variable identifier is demonstrated.
Initially the Abaqus2Matlab application folder is installed, and then the verification tests are executed. The input files, which are stored in a separate folder, are copied in the current directory and run in Abaqus by issuing a suitable command to the operating system through Matlab. The tests are executed in a loop; in each repetition one input file is run in Abaqus and produces the corresponding odb file and then the node-type field output results contained in the odb file are read and printed in the command window. The printout is also shown below the code on this page. Each verification test is characterized by a unique node-type field output variable identifier.
See Abaqus2Matlab Analysis User's Guide for information about the output presented in each verification test.
